Zone Valve Controller – Technologic 5500 Series ZoneSav – Obsolete

The Technologic 5500 Series Zone Valve Controller is a device that provides humidity control and maximizes delta-T (ΔT) while minimizing flow. Tertiary zones can be “decoupled” thermally as well as hydraulically from the primary chilled or hot water distribution system.
The ZoneSav zone valve controller is designed to provide optimum performance, reliability and maximum comfort. Receiving temperature sensor inputs and modulating the tertiary zone 2-way control valve are the primary functions of the controller.

The ZoneSav zone valve combines PID functions, setpoint modification, and system and component status into a single, central, user-friendly unit. A data-logging feature provides historical information of key events with date and time stamps. Log information includes alarms, valve positions, BTU/hr, and flow rates.

The ZoneSav’s flash memory permits customized settings to be loaded and saved. These field values are permanently retained even after corruption of data due to external disturbances.

The ZoneSav’s modular design adds unlimited flexibility as it incorporates years of Xylem Bell & Gossett engineering development and programming into a state of the art control system designed exclusively for tertiary valve control applications.
